The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Monday released the ninth edition of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024. In the research category, IISc Bengaluru has been placed at the top, followed by IIT Madras and IIT Delhi at the second and third places respectively. Among the top 10 research institutes, IITs have dominated the category, with seven spots in top 10 secured by IITs. This year, the evaluation criteria have also been modified.
