NEET UG 2024 cut-off: Here's NEET UG expected cut-off and trends from previous year (Pexels/ represemtative image)NEET UG 2024 Results: Now that the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) provisional answer key, the NEET UG result can be expected anytime. In addition to the NEET UG result 2024, NTA will also announce the cut-off marks.
Last year, the NEET UG cut-off percentile for the general category was 50 for MBBS and BDS candidates and 40 for OBC, SC and ST candidates. The NTA will determine the percentile of NEET UG based on the highest marks scored in the all-India common merit list for NEET UG 2024.
Analysing the NEET UG 2024 exam, Nitin Viijay, Founder and CEO of Motion Education said: “The conclusion of NEET UG 2024 has led us to anticipate a strong performance from the aspirants. Although there was a rise in the NEET UG cut-off last year, this year, we expect the cut-off for all categories to dip slightly. The general category cut-off could be around 720-130, the SC Category cut-off could be around 129-108, the ST category cut-off could be 128-106 & OBC category cut-off could be 130-108.”
The NEET UG cut-off in 2023 for the general category increased to 720-137 from 715-117 in 2022. The same pattern was observed for other categories as well. The cut-off for SC, ST, and OBC candidates increased to 136-107 in 2023 from 116-93 in 2022.

NEET UG 2024 was held on May 5 for over 24 lakh candidates. The answer keys were released on May 29 and medical aspirants were given time till May 31 to raise objections against the provisional NEET UG answer keys.
The NEET UG final answer key and result are expected in the second or third week of June, an NTA source told indianexpress.com on Friday, May 31. Last year, the NEET UG answer key was released on June 4, and the result were declared on June 13.
