The overall pass percentage for Class 10 stood at 76.22 per cent, while Class 12 recorded a pass percentage of 74.48 per cent.

The MP board second chance examination, a new initiative by MPBSE, replaced the earlier supplementary system. Students who failed in the MP board 2025 exams or were absent in one or more subjects in the main exam were eligible to appear in this exam. Additionally, students who passed a subject but wished to improve their marks also were able to take this exam. In cases where a student appeared for both the main and the second chance exam, the better of the two scores will be considered final.

For subjects with a practical component, students will be allowed to reappear only for the portion they failed, either the practical or internal assessment. However, students cannot change their subjects for the second chance exam.

Students who appeared for the Second Chance Examination did not receive a marksheet for the main exam. However, they were able to download a certified digital copy via DigiLocker. Once the second exam results are declared, final MPBSE 2025 Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets will be issued to the students.
