The MPBSE class 10th exams were administered from February 27 to March 19. Class 12 exams were conducted from February 25 to March 25.

Gurdeep Kaur Vasu, 34, from Indore who cannot speak, hear, or see, has made history by passing the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) Class 12 board examination. She scored 207 out of 400 marks and passed in the second division.

In order to pass the MPBSE Class 10 and 12 examinations, candidates must attain a minimum of 33 percent in each subject as well as an aggregate score of 33 percent overall.

Of the 212 students in the merit list of the high school examination, 144 are girls. In the merit list of 159 students of the higher secondary examination, 89 are girls.
Pragya Jaiswal stood first in the state in the high school or Class 10 examination by securing 100 percent marks, while Priyal Dwivedi topped the higher secondary or Class 12 exam with 492 out of 500 marks in science-mathematics group.
Online applications for appearing in the second chance examination can be filled from May 7 to 21 till 12 midnight through MP Online portal.
Students who were absent/failed in one or more subjects in the first examination of the MP Board will be able to appear in the second examination and such candidates who have passed in any subject can also appear in the second chance examination for improvement of marks. Whichever is the best result of the candidates between the first and second chance will be considered final.

For the year 2025 High School Certificate Examination, results for mentally challenged, visually impaired, and hearing & speech-impaired (CWSN) students were also declared by the board. In this category, the pass percentage for male students was 59.60% and for female students 62.99%, making the overall pass percentage in this category 60.98%.
This year, female students outperformed male students among the regular candidates. The pass percentage for male students was 73.21% while for female students, it was 79.27%.
This year, results for 804,768 regular students were declared. Out of these, 429,042 students passed in the first division, 182,172 students in the second division, and 2200 students in the third division. Thus, a total of 613,414 students passed the exam, with a pass percentage of 76.22%. This year, no student’s result was withheld.
To conduct the High School Certificate Examination, a total of 3887 examination centers were set up across the state for regular and private students. This year, 804,932 students appeared as regular candidates and 131,293 students as private candidates. There were 24 cases of cheating reported, the lowest in the past 10 years.
In the High School Examination this year, 76.22% of regular students and 28.70% of private students passed. Among these, 73.21% of regular male students and 79.27% of regular female students were successful.

While announcing the MP Board Class 10 and Class 12 results, the Chief Minister stated that MP Board exams will be conducted twice a year starting next year. However, according to MP PRO, there have been discussions about holding the exams within a six-month interval, possibly around July-August, though an official schedule has not been confirmed yet.

Last year, the MP supplementary exams began on June 2. It is expected that the supplementary exams will start around this date.
In 2024, a total of 827,563 students registered for the exams, comprising 416,501 boys and 411,062 girls. Among them, 6,018 were absent from the exams, including 3,847 boys and 2,171 girls. The number of students who appeared for the exams was 821,545, with 412,654 boys and 408,891 girls. A total of 212 exams were canceled, with 151 involving boys and 61 involving girls, last year.
Additionally, 344 exams were withheld, including 230 for boys and 114 for girls. Finally, the results were declared for 820,989 students, including 412,273 boys and 408,716 girls.

According to a statement from the Board, the results will be announced by the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister at a press conference at 10 am. In pandemic-hit 2020, Class 10 results came on July 4 (8.93 lakh candidates, 2.85 lakh first divisions), and Class 12 exams (8.2 lakh candidates), halted mid-way due to lockdown, had results declared on July 27.
