Meghalaya MBOSE HSSLC Result 2023: Science, Commerce, Vocational result today

MBOSE HSSLC Result 2023 date and time: The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) will today announce the results of Class 12 HSSLC for Science, Commerce and Vocational streams. Students who appeared for the MBOSE HSSLC exams will be able to check their scores at the official websites – mbose.in.

The Meghalaya Board HSSLC (Class 12) Exams were held from March to March 28, 2023 and the exams were conducted from 10 am to 1 pm. The Meghalaya Board MBOSE HSSLC 2023 practical exams were held from February 10 till February 20, 2023 and were conducted in two shifts — the morning shift from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and the evening shift from 1 pm to 5 pm.

In 2022, MBOSE announced the HSSLC result on May 26 for the commerce, science and vocational streams and the art stream result was announced on June 10. The overall pass percentage for the HSSLC Arts stream was 81.17 per cent, for Commerce it was 83.63 per cent, while it was 71.62 per cent and 100 per cent in Science and Vocational streams respectively. A total of 22,711 students appeared for the exams and out of which 18,434 students passed the exams successfully.

In 2021, Meghalaya board was among the few state boards that conducted the class 12 board exam despite the increase in Covid-19 cases across the country. The overall passing percentage recorded by the board in 2021 was 80.93 per cent.

In the 2020 HSSLC result, female students outperformed the boys in the arts stream. The pass percentage for girls was 79.19 per cent as compared to the 67.80 pass per cent of the boys. A total number of 1814 candidates secured first division marks.

Sources added that BSF troops initially warned the Pakistani national and also fired two to three rounds to dissuade him from crossing the border.

A Pakistani national, identified as Siraj Khan, was apprehended by the Border Security Force (BSF) in Jammu and Kashmir's R S Pura Sector. He was attempting to cross the international border from the Pakistan side. The BSF troops fired warning shots and seized Rs 30 in Pakistani currency from the man. He is currently being questioned for his motives.
