Maharashtra HSC Results 2023 declared, drop in pass percentage

Maharashtra Board HSC 12th Result 2023: The results for the MSBSHSE exams have been declared and a pass percentage of 91.25 per cent was recorded. This is a drop from last year's 94.22 per cent.

Maharashtra Board HSC 12th Result 2023: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) today declared the MSBSHSE HSC results. Students can check their results at – mahresult.nic.in and hscresult.mkcl.org.

The overall pass percentage this year is 91.25 per cent which is 2.97% less as compared to last year’s 94.22%. The pass percentage of girls this year is 93.73 and of boys 89.14, the board said.

It also said 96.09 per cent students from the science stream passed the exams, followed by 90.42 per cent from commerce and 84.05 per cent from the arts stream.

Of the nine regions in the state, Konkan region recorded the highest 96.01 per cent result. A total of 14,28,194 students registered for the exams of which 14,16,371 appeared. However, total 12,92,468 HSC students passed.

Last year, the result was declared on June 8 and around 14.85 lakh students had registered themselves for the exams. The overall pass percentage was 94.22 per cent. The pass percentage of girls and boys was 95.35 per cent and 93.29 per cent respectively.
