Among the 9 districts, the Konkan (97.51) division tops while the Mumbai division has the lowest passing percentage (91.95%). A total of 26 subjects show 100 per cent result.

This year, 93.37% students passed the Maharashtra HSC exams which is a 2.12 per cent increase compared to last year’s 91.25%. A total of 95.44 girls passed while boys scored 91.60%. The passing percentage for physically challenged students is 94%. Read more

Once the MSBSHSE declares the Maharashtra HSC 2024 results, the Class 12 students can collect their original mark sheets and other certificates from their respective schools. The MSBSHSE result 2024 available online is provisional.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will declare the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Class 12 board results on May 21 at 11 am. However, the HSC students will be able to check their scorecards online at the official website – mahresult.nic.in at 1 pm.

As per the data shared by MSBSHSE, a total of 15,13,909 candidates have registered for the Maharashtra HSC examination held this year. It includes 8,21,450 boys and 6,92,424 girls. With 7,60,046 students, the Science stream has the highest number of candidates registered for the HSC exam, followed by 3,81,982 students in the Arts stream and 3,29,905 in the Commerce stream.

Last year, science stream students recorded a pass percentage of 96.09 per cent, while in commerce, the pass percentage was 90.42 per cent and in arts, it was 84.05 per cent. The overall pass percentage in Class 12 HSC was 91.25 per cent.

The Maharashtra board Class 10 result date is not yet confirmed. The board will announce the Maharashtra board Class 10 SSC result date and time.

In 2023, the HSC exams were held from February 21 to March 20 and were conducted in two shifts – 11 am to 2 pm in the morning and 3 pm to 6 pm in the evening. A total of 14,57,293 candidates — 7,92,780 boys and 6,64,441 girls — had registered for the examination.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will declare the Class 12 board result on May 21 at 1 pm. Once released, the Maharashtra Board HSC students will be able to check their scorecards at the official website – mahresult.nic.in. 

The press conference for the examination will be held at 11 and students can access the results after 1 PM from the official websites.

Students who gave the exam can check their result at the official websites - mahresult.nic.in and hscresult.mkcl.org. Students can check their result by entering their roll number or registration number, email id and his or her name. The result will be displayed on the screen and the students can save the result for future reference.  

The overall pass percentage in 2023 was 91.25 per cent which is 2.97% less as compared to last year's 94.22%. The pass percentage of girls was 93.73 and of boys 89.14, the board said. It also said 96.09 per cent students from the science stream passed the exams, followed by 90.42 per cent from commerce and 84.05 per cent from the arts stream.

Last year, SSC exams were conducted from March 15 till April 4, 2022. A total of 16,38,964 students, including 8,89,506 boys and 7,49,458 girls, registered for the Maharashtra SSC exams. The overall pass percentage was 96.94 per cent with girls outshining the boys with a pass percentage of 97.96 per cent whereas the boys had a pass percentage of 90.06 per cent. The board declared the result on June 17. 

A total of 14,28,114 students registered, and14,16,371 appeared for the examinations. From this count, 12,92,468 students were declared successful with students of science stream recording the highest pass percentage of 96.09 per cent.

Last year, physical copies of Maharashtra Class 12 were made available at junior colleges after June 5.

In 2023 Mahasrashtra HSC results, a total of  11 FIRs were lodged this year for malpractices.

In 2023, the Mharashtra board also appointed counsellors to help students access their results. Their contact numbers were: 020-2705209, 020-25705203, 020-25705204.

Among all the nine divisions of the Maharashtra state board, Konkan division recorded the highest pass percentage of 96.01, followed by Pune with 93.34 per cent.
