Karnataka SSLC result 2023: Overall pass percentage at 83%, Bengaluru underperforms yet again
The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board declared the SSLC board Examination result Monday. Ramachandran R, chairman of KSEAB, said the pass percentage should be inferred as an increase from 2019-20 because of the difficulty level. “It is necessarily not a drop in pass percentage from last year, because the difficulty level was 10% last year and 20% this year. The 20% difficulty level is same as pre pandemic level . While 2019- 20 recorded a pass percentage of 71%, it has increased by 12% this year,” said Ramachandran.
The examination was conducted from March 31 to April 15 across 3305 examination centres.

The lowest pass percentage districts are Yagir (75.49%), Bidar (78.73%) and Bengaluru South (78.95%).
