This time, the exams were conducted from February 6 to February 26. Matric examinations were conducted from 9:45 am to 1:05 pm in a pen-and-paper mode. This year, over 4.2 lakh students appeared for the JAC matric board exam. The exams were held in 1,238 centres across the state.

The JAC Class 10 practical examinations 2024 were conducted between February 28 and March 11. The JAC board had also asked the heads of the institutions to collect question papers for practical examination from the office of the District Education Office.

To pass the Jharkhand Board class 10 examination 2024, students must secure a minimum of 33 per cent in each subject and overall.

In 2023, JAC Class 10 board exam had recorded a pass percentage of 95.38 per cent and out of them 66.23 per cent achieved first division, 31.05 per cent second division and 2.37 per cent got third division. A total of 4,33,718 students had registered for the exam and out of which 4,27,294 students appeared for the exam.
