JEE Main expected cut-off, final answer key release date
JEE Main Result 2024: According to experts in the field, the JEE Main 2024 cut-off for the general category candidate will see a rise from 90.7788642 last year to 92.19 this year.

JEE Main Result 2024: Candidates who appeared for the JEE Main 2024 in January and April can expect a minor rise in the JEE Main cut-off this year, suggest increase in number of candidates and past years’ cut-off. The number of JEE Main candidates in both sessions was over 24 lakh, 12,21,624 in session 1 and 12.57 lakh in session 2.
The JEE Main cut-off for students belonging to the Common Rank List or the general category was 90.7788642 last year. It was 2.3667259 points higher than the 2022.
According to Mohit Tyagi of Competishun, the JEE main cut-off to become eligible for JEE Advanced for general category candidates will see an increase — up from 90.7788642 last year to 92.19 this year. For OBC-NCL, the cut-off to be 77.67.

In session 1, students had achieved a percentile of 99.96, setting the stage for competition, Nitin Vijay, founder and CEO of Motion Education reiterated. Considering that the session 2 paper 1 exams were moderately easier, he added, it is expected that the candidates will surpass the prior benchmark registered in session 1. With the majority of the questions coming from the Class 11 and 12 NCERT curriculum, there are chances that the students might outperform the session 1 result, he added.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) concluded the paper 1 exams of the second session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) on April 12. NTA is expected to declare the JEE Main result on April 25. The result link will be made live at the JEE Main official website – jeemain.nta.ac.in. The final answer key will also be released soon.
