JEE Main Exam 2021 Day 4 HIGHLIGHTS: Today is the last day of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2021) February session and the candidates who have attempted the paper-1 in the morning reviewed it as moderate. In the last two sessions on February 25 and 24, the difficulty level of the paper reviewed as moderate. However, maths was tough in both the shifts of February 25, while chemistry was reviewed as difficult in the February 24 shifts.

The National Testing Agency had given several relaxations to JEE aspirants including choices in the exam and the option to appear for the exam four times a year. Irrespective of the number of choices, students will be ranked based on the best score they have obtained, as per the rules. Amitabh Kumar who attempted in the afternoon session analysed the paper as moderately difficult. According to Amitabh, “The weightage was given on chapters from coordiante geometry, algebra. The chemistry has more questions from inorganic part compared to physical and organic. According to expert, the difficulty level of the paper was of easy to moderate. Ajay Kumar Sharma, National Academic Director, Aakash (AESL) said that most of the questions were either directly taken from NCERT books or based on concepts. "Most of the students opined that the physics paper was the easiest followed by chemistry and maths," he said.
The difficulty level in maths was moderate in nature. As per candidates, the questions were mainly asked from calculus, algebra. The weightage was given to chapters like vectors, matrices, probability, 3D geometry, complex numbers in algebra.

Most of the examinees (6,70,332 students) have opted to appear for the JEE Main 2021 in the English language followed by Hindi which has 23,751 students. A total of 21,609 students will appear for the regional languages including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. This is the first time, the exam is being held in regional languages.
The first shift of the JEE Main 2021 February last session concluded on February 26. As per the candidates, the difficulty level of the paper was moderate.
A total of 661776 candidates have registered to appear for the February attempt of which 652627 candidates will appear for paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) and 63065 candidates will appear for paper 2A and paper 2B
