IIT Placements: BHU receives 881 offers with highest CTC at Rs 1.65 crore

IIT-BHU placement drive: The Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU) has started its 2024-25 batch placement drive. Until December 5, the Institute has received 881 offers from 257 participating companies with the highest CTC at Rs 1.65 crore per annum to Rs 30 lakh. The drive consisted of both internships and final placements.

For pre-final year BHU students, a total of 399 internship offers were made by 87 companies, including prominent names like Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, JPMorgan Chase, Nvidia, and Adobe.

In final placements, 262 PPOs (pre-placement offers) were extended by 71 companies, with top recruiters being Oracle, Intuit, Fidelity, AQR Capital, Microsoft, and Uber, among others.

The Day 1 slot witnessed 170 offers from 89 companies such as Flipkart, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and Alphonso AI, while Day 2 saw 216 offers from 50 companies, including Cognizant, Paytm, Walmart, and Uber.

Day 2 of the campus placement saw 103 offers extended by 22 companies, including prominent names such as Delta Exchange, SRIN, Tiger Analytics, Axtria, Grey Orange, and Axxela. Other recruiters like UKG, Siteform, Turing, and Accordin also contributed, alongside companies from diverse sectors such as Oyo Rooms, Tata Steel, FPL, and Reliance New Energies.

Companies like Cashfree, Barco Electronics, Nucleus Software, and SignalChip further highlighted the diversity of opportunities offered.

On Day 3, 86 offers were made by 15 recruiters, including Infosys, Chella, Searce, Sonalika, Maven Magnet, and WCB Robotics, showcasing strong participation from tech and innovative companies. Maruti (Mtech), Fluence Energy, and Attentions Data Labs were among others extending offers.

By Day 4, an additional 44 offers were made by 10 companies, including Scarce, Nucleus, SRF, Reliance, Mphasis, SLA Tech, and Hitachi, rounding out a highly successful placement season.
