JEE Advanced 2023 Results: Vavilala Chidvilas Reddy is AIR 1, Nayakanti Naga Bhavya Sree is girls’ category topper

JEE Advanced 2023: Once the result is out at jeeadv.ac.in, the registration for the counselling process will begin. This year, a total of 1,80,372 appeared in both papers in IIT-JEE Advanced of which 43773 have qualified.

JEE Advanced 2023: The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati today declared the results for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2023. Vavilala Chidvilas Reddy from the Hyderabad zone has secured all India rank (AIR) 1.

Students who appeared for the exam can check their results at the official website — jeeadv.ac.in.

As many as six students who secured 100 percentile in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 have emerged as toppers of JEE Advanced 2023.

This year, a total of 1,80,372 appeared in both papers in IIT-JEE Advanced of which 43773 have qualified. As many as 36204 male students and 7509 female students cleared JEE Advanced 2023.

Minimum marks required to qualify this year category-wise: 
General – individual subject 8 aggregate 86
OBC – 7 and 77
SC/ST/PwD – 4 and 43
Preparatory course – 2 and 22

Most candidates have qualified from the Hyderabad zone, that is, 10,432. Here’s the zone-wise break up of top 500:

Roorkee 46
Kharagpur 37
Kanpur 16
Guwahati 4

This year there is less percentage of negative markings. Additionally, there were more questions without penalty which gave confidence to students to attempt.

The JEE Advanced 2023 was conducted on June 4. Candidate response sheets were available from June 9 and the provisional answer key was released June 11. Students were allowed to raise objections till 5 pm of June 12.

As the results have been declared, the qualified candidates will now have to attend the Joint Seat Allocation Authority counselling for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs and more. There are a total of 118 institutes for which the counselling is conducted by JoSAA.
