ICAI CA Foundation September 2024 admit card released

The admit card of the candidates carries necessary candidate information like name, application number, details of the programme, exam venue, date of exam and more.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on August 27 released the admit cards for the September session of CA Foundation. The candidates who have filled the online application form can download their ICAI admit cards from the official website – eservices.icai.org.

The exams will be conducted on September 13, 15, 18 and 20. The duration for paper 1 and 2 exam will be of three hours and will be conducted from 2 to 5 pm whereas the paper 3 and 4 will be of two hours only which will be held between 2 to 4 pm.

Students who have filled the registration form can download their admit cards from the official website. The candidates need to fill their registration number and password to access the admit cards. The password for the same is the date of birth of the candidate.

The admit card of the candidates carries necessary candidate information like name, application number, details of the programme, exam venue, date of exam and more.

The ICAI CA Foundation exam consists of four question papers. Paper 1 is principles and practice of accounting while paper 2 is business laws and business correspondence and reporting. These two papers are subjective in nature. Paper 3 involves business mathematics, logical reasoning, and statistics while Paper 4 covers business economics and business and commercial knowledge. The Paper 3 and 4 of the CA foundation will be conducted in objective format. Every paper carries 100 marks making it a total of 400 marks. 

Candidates should note that there will be no negative marking for incorrect choices in Paper 1 and 2 but for Paper 3 and 4, 0.25 of a mark will be deducted in case of every wrong choice.
