2015-16: Out of 1.22 lakh (1,22,614) students cleared the examination successfully marking a pass percentage of 66.88.
2016-17: A total of 76,855 students passed the examination touching a pass percentage of 67.57.

Two girl students Kompal Zinta and Sakshi have secured the third rank with 689 (98.43 per cent) marks. This year, a total of 67,319 students have cleared the examination successfully securing a pass percentage of 60.79%
Atharv Thakur has topped the Class 10 board examination with 98.71 per cent. Three students have secured the second spot with 98.57 per cent. The students are Paras, Dhruv Sharma, Ridhi Sharma.
Out of 1.11 lakh (1,11,980) students who had appeared in the examination, 67,319 cleared the examination successfully. The pass percentage touched 60.79 per cent, a significant drop from the last year, 2018.
As the HP Board staff is uploading the result, heavy traffic has reached the site, making it unresponsive. In wake of this, the result has been declared but many candidates have said that they are unable to access the website. The problem is expected to be resolved by 1 pm, latest.
Breaking the series of wins by since students, this year's topper is from commerce stream. From the last two years, toppers have been from science stream. This year, Ashmita Sharma tops arts stream by scoring 96.4 % marks, Priety Birsanta tops commerce stream 98.8%, and Anil Kumar tops science stream 98.6%.
The Himachal-based Government schools have displayed better result than private. This year, 31 students in the merit list and 27 students of private schools also made it to the list.

HPBOSE result declared for class 12 exam. Out of 95492 students who appeared in the class 12 exam, 55949 passed the same while over 16,000 have to reappear in a compartment or supplementary exam, as per the latest inputs.

All those students who had appeared for the Class 10 examination are required to check their respective scores at the official websites — hpbose.org and hpresults.nic.in. They should keep their admit card/hall ticket ready so as to check the result. After the result is out, they will be required to use their roll number in order to check the same. On submitting it, they will be acle to see their respective scores.
This year, in order to avoid any malpractice, the exam authorities installed CCTV cameras in the examination halls. Moreover, over 100 flying squads kept a strict check on the examination. Once the result is published, students have to click on the Class 10 results link and then enter their details in the fields provided. The result will appear on the screen.
In 2017, a total of 1,15,317 students had appeared for the exam. The first rank was bagged by Isha Chouhan, a student of the Minerva Academy in Ghumarwin in the Bilaspur District. The top 10 positions were shared by 33 students with 97.71 per cent at rank 10. The chairman added that of those who appeared, 76,855 students cleared the papers.
The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education came into existence in 1969. At present, more than 8000 schools are affiliated with the same. The Board has set up 1650 examination centres throughout the state. The Himachal Board also publishes textbooks for classes 1 to 12.
After the results are declared, students will be able to downlaod their respective scorecards from the official website. It might happen that due to heavy traffic, students may face difficulty opening the websites. In that case, they are required to maintain patience and refresh the page after 5-10 minutes to check again.
The second position has been obtained by both Sonam and Rahul Kumar with 98.42 per cent. As far as the third rank is concerned, Shreya Sajeta, Niharika Sharma, Ridhima and Vanshita share the position with 98.28 per cent.
The Himachal Pradesh Board will declare the results of Class 10 examination on Monday, April 29 at 12:30 pm. The students can check the result through the website, hpbose.org at 12:30 pm.

Reportedly, Himachal board arranged special exam centres for women. In terms of security CCTV cameras were installed in the over 1000 exam centres across the state.
To pass the exam candidates will have to score 33 per cent marks in each subject and an over all score of 33 per cent.

Last year the result was announced on May 3, 2019. Following the suite of other boards HPBOSE or Himchal Board too has decided to declare the result early and the same will be available form today.
HPBOSE class 10 or matric exams were conducted over 1800 centers across the state for which the Himachal Board will declare the result today.
The HPBOSE officials had informed that the result will be declared at noon and will be available for the students to download. The result was earlier expected by 11 am but the same has now been postponed to be declared at 12 (noon).
In 2018, the overall pass percentage was 63.39%. It was nearly 4 per cent lower than 67.57 per cent which was the pass percentage of 2017. This year, a positive result is expected and the pass percentage is likely to rise.
Students can check their scores by visiting the official websites. They will have to click on the result link and enter their roll number/other required details. On submitting the information, their result will be displayed on the screen. They should then download the same and take a printout for future reference.
