FMGE December 2025: NBEMS starts applications

The information bulletin for FMGE December 2025 will be available from November 14, 3 pm onwards. Candidates can begin submitting their online FMGE December 2025 application form from the same day and continue until December 4 (11:55 pm).

FMGE December 2025: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the commencement of applications for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) – December 2025 session, scheduled to be held on January 17, 2026. The examination will be conducted on a computer-based platform at various test centers across the country.

NBEMS has advised the interested candidates to visit the official website of the board — natboard.edu.in, to check the eligibility criteria, fee structure, and examination scheme before applying.

According to the official notification issued by NBEMS, the information bulletin for FMGE December 2025 will be available from November 14, 3 pm onwards. Candidates can begin submitting their online FMGE December 2025 application form from the same day and continue until December 4 (11:55 pm).

The FMGE December 2025 results are expected to be declared by February 17, 2026.

The FMGE serves as a mandatory qualifying examination for Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) who have obtained their primary medical qualifications from institutions outside the country. Only those who qualify in this examination are eligible to register with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or state medical councils to practice medicine in India.

NBEMS has provided a dedicated candidate care support line (+91-7996165333) and a helpline portal for queries related to application submission, payment gateway issues, or refund of failed transactions. For concerns regarding eligibility or document verification, candidates can contact the board through its official communication web portal at exam.natboard.edu.in.

The NBE FMGE June 2025 exam was conducted on July 26. The FMGE June 2025 result scorecards were available for candidates on August 21. The FMGE 2025 result scorecard is available for download only for a period of six months from the date of issuance. The FMGE June 2025 result of five candidates were withheld due to pending clarification from the NMC or outcome of the Exam Ethics Committee.
