The Central Placement Cell of the University of Delhi, under the aegis of the Dean of Students’ Welfare, is conducting a job fair on Wednesday, October 8, for Delhi University students. All students currently enrolled in undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programmes, or those who have graduated from the University, are eligible to apply for the job mela. The job mela by DU will provide internship and job opportunities to the students.

The event will be organised in the multipurpose hall, indoor stadium, and gate number two of the University. The last date for registration is October 5. Registration for the event is completely free, with no fees required. Students need to complete their registration as early as possible to secure their spot. Additionally, all participants must fulfil the specified eligibility criteria to take part in the opportunity.

In the form, students will need to fill in categories like name, email, phone number, social category, gender, course, college and its department, university enrolment number, semester, passing year,  CGPA, university identity card PDF and resume PDF.

This year, the Ministry of Education (MoE) released the NIRF India Rankings 2025 for 17 categories, including colleges, with Hindu College maintaining its top position for the second consecutive year. Miranda House followed in second place, while Hans Raj College and Kirori Mal College made debut entries into the top five, signalling a reshaping of Delhi University’s hierarchy.
