To pass the test, a candidate must score 60 per cent or higher. School managements—including government, local bodies, government-aided, and unaided institutions—may provide concessions to candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC, and differently-abled individuals, per their existing reservation policies.

Candidates will receive weightage for their scores during the recruitment process; however, qualifying the CTET does not guarantee recruitment or employment. It is merely one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

If the Board accepts a challenge, meaning a mistake is identified by subject experts in the answer key, a policy decision will be announced, and the fee will be refunded.

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed online to the credit/debit card accounts used for payment. Therefore, candidates are advised to use their own credit/debit cards for payment. The Board’s decisions regarding challenges are final, and no further communication will be entertained.
