CBSE Class 10th Result 2023: While the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today released the results for Classes 10 and 12 results.

The students can check their score at the official websites – cbse.gov.in, results.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, umang.gov.in by entering their name and roll number.

As many as 93.12 per cent of students passed the CBSE exam, a dip of 1.28 percentage points from last year. The board has also announced it will not publish the merit list to avoid “unhealthy competition”.

The board has also decided to scrap awarding first, second and third divisions based on students’ scores, officials said.

In the Class 12 result, the overall pass percentage for 2023 is 87.33 per cent, which is a dip from 2022 but the performance has improved in comparison to the pre-pandemic years (83.40 per cent in 2019). Like last year, this year too, the Trivandrum has emerged as the best district with 99.91 per cent, followed by Bengaluru at 98.64 per cent and Chennai at 97.40 per cent. Delhi West is in fourth position with 93.24 per cent.

For Class 12 result, the students who want to apply for verification of marks secured in one or more subjects will be able to do so from May 16 onwards. Meanwhile, the supplementary exams will be conducted in July 2023.

Meanwhile, the CBSE has announced that next year, the CBSE 2024 exams will be conducted from February 15.
