CBSE 10th, 12th results 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) introduced various skill modules for students in middle school – Classes 6 to 8. These modules are aligned to the skill subjects being offered by the Board in secondary and senior secondary classes to ensure ‘no hard separation’ between curricular, co-curricular, extra-curricular or academic, vocational, physical education, or art education.

Beginning May 1, a series of webinars have been scheduled on modules such as blue pottery, bakery, khadi, block printing, mask making, Kashmiri embroidery, food preservation, mass media to create awareness among students and teachers. These webinars will be held up to May 19 and can be seen on the CBSE YouTube channel.

These courses are of 10-15 hours in duration and are purely optional. Moreover, they do not require any investments in terms of labs or special subject teachers as these are meant to provide tertiary-level exposure to the students.
