CBSE 10th Class Compartment Result 2025 Highlights: CBSE Class 10 scorecards released

The process for the verification and re-evaluation of the compartment exams is completely online, with payment methods via online modes only (Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking). No cash/DD/money order will be accepted by the Board. The processing fee is non-refundable. CBSE will accept only one application per candidate per step.

The performance of CWSN (Children With Special Needs) candidates in the 2025 supplementary examination shows that 319 candidates registered, 314 appeared, and 160 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 50.95%.

For candidates appearing from foreign schools, 441 students registered, 430 appeared, and 233 passed, marking a pass percentage of 54.18%.

In the year 2025, a total of 15,495 schools participated in the supplementary exams, and the examinations were conducted across 970 exam centres.

The Board has already issued the scorecards for the Class 12th on August 1. Students are awaiting the Class 10 CBSE compartment exam results.

As soon as the results are released, students will be able to check their results using roll number, school number, admit card ID, and security pin from the CBSE official website – cbse.gov.in.

UNESCO, in collaboration with CBSE and NCERT, hosted the eleventh edition of the capacity-building workshop under the School Health and Wellness Programme (SHWP) in New Delhi this week to advance the effort to grow a network of master trainers tasked with implementing the SHWP across 30,000 CBSE-affiliated schools, aiming to reach around 15 million adolescent students.

During June and July 2025, more than 290 principals, school leaders, and educators from 22 states and 5 union territories—including Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Delhi, Kerala, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and others—participated in the training sessions.

The status of the re-evaluation will be uploaded on the website, followed by an official communication from the respective CBSE Regional Office. The outcome of re-evaluation, whether an increase or a decrease in marks, will be final, and no further appeal will be entertained.

The verification result will be made available in the same login account from which the application was submitted. If there is any change in the marks—either an increase or decrease—it will be updated accordingly, and the revised result will be published. Even a decrease of one mark will be reflected in the final result, read the notification.

The CBSE Class 10 board exams were conducted by the board from February 15 to March 18, 2025, in a pen and paper format. This year, 24.12 lakh CBSE Class 10 students appeared for the exams in 84 subjects.

Out of a total of 23,85,079 students who registered for the CBSE Class 10 exams, 23,71,939 students appeared for the exams. Among them, 22,21,636 students successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 93.66 per cent for the year. The CBSE Class 10 result was declared on May 13. The CBSE Class 10 board exams were held between February 15 and March 18, 2025, in a pen-and-paper format. This year, 24.12 lakh CBSE Class 10 students took exams in 84 subjects.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Sample Question Papers (SQPs) and Marking Schemes (MS) for Classes 10 and 12 for the academic session 2025-26. These resources are now available for download on the official academic website of the board — cbseacademic.nic.in.

According to the official notification, the purpose of releasing the sample papers is to offer a broad template for both teachers and students. These papers aim to ensure curriculum coverage with uniformity across schools and serve as a guide to the design of the question papers to be used in the Board examinations.
