(Express photo by Anil Sharma/ representational image)CBSE 10th, 12th Results 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the Class 10 and 12 results in which Class 12 registered a pass percentage of 87.98 per cent, and the pass percentage in Class 10 stood at 93.60 per cent.
This time, Kendriya Vidyalaya (KVs) and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) have performed better than the rest of the institutes.
JNVs and KVs registered a pass percentage of 99.09 per cent in Class 10 results. A similar trend was seen last year when JNVs scored 99.14 per cent, while KVs scored a pass percentage of 98 per cent.
| CBSE Class 10 results | JNV (%) | KV (%) |
| 2024 | 99.09 | 99.09 |

However, in 2022, the KVs lagged slightly as JNVs scored 99.71 per cent, and KVs came third with 96.61 per cent. This was a big fall from the year before when KVs were at the first spot with a 100 per cent pass percentage, while JNVs registered 99.99 per cent. However, this was also because of the Covid-19 pandemic-induced lockdowns, that had led to the cancellation of board exams.
In 2020, too, KVs had a lead with 99.23 per cent while JNVs got the second spot with 98.66 cent. The trend was the same before the pandemic, in 2019 too, when KVs had the top spot with 99.47 per cent and JNVs had the second spot with 98.57 per cent.
The trend, however, seems a bit different in Class 12 results, as for Class 12 Central Tibetan School Administration (CTSA) has also been achieving a spot in the top three ranks, along with JNVs and KVs.
| CBSE Class 12 results | JNV (%) | KV (%) | CTSA (%) |
