(Representative image/ Express photo)BSEH class 10th, 12th Compartment Exams: The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) today released the date sheet for re-examinations, reevaluation, and re-verification of secondary and senior secondary classes. Students appearing for these exams can check the date sheet and apply for these exams from today (May 16) at the official BSEH website — bseh.org.in.
Re-examinations are for those candidates who could not appear in the Secondary (Educational) examination in March 2024 or whose result was declared. Those candidates who are not satisfied with their examination results, those candidates whose results of partial/complete subjects examination, and secondary candidates whose results have been declared failed can appear in the examination of June/July 2024 as self-study candidates in the fresh category.
For the Secondary/Secondary cum Pre-Madhyamik and Senior Secondary examination in June/July 2024, if the candidates apply from May 16 to 26, the candidates will not be charged the late fee i.e. Rs 900. If the candidate applies from May 27 to 31, the candidate will be charged a late fee of Rs 100.
Similarly, the registration dates with a late fee of Rs 300 will be from June 1 to June 5, and the registration dates with a late fee of Rs 1000 will be from June 6 to 10.
This year, BSEH on May 12 released the Class 10 results with an overall pass percentage of 95.22 per cent. In rural areas, out of 9,163 appeared, 8,044 qualified, resulting in an 87.79 per cent pass percentage, whereas urban areas had a higher pass rate of 91.23 per cent, with 3,444 passing out of 3,774 candidates. Last year, schools in rural areas performed better than urban areas with a passing percentage of 67.35 per cent, as compared to 61.28 per cent for schools in urban areas.
Last year, the overall pass percentage was recorded at 65.43 per cent, which was a decline from 2022’s 73.18 per cent. However, in 2022 the Class 10 exams were conducted with 30 per cent reduced syllabus. A year before that, in 2021, BSEH had cancelled class 10 exams due to the Covid-19 pandemic induced lockdown. In 2023, Class 10 results were announced on June 17.
This year, the overall pass percentage of Class 12 has been recorded at 85.31 per cent. To view marks, the BSEH students have to keep their roll cards handy. They can log in to the official website and check their marks. To pass, they need to score 33 per cent. Of the 2,13,504 candidates who appeared in the HBSE Class 12 regular examination, 1,82,136 passed and 6,169 candidates failed. The result of Senior Secondary Open School (Fresh) was 35.83 percent and the result of (Re-Appear) was 48.71 percent
The pass percentage of government schools is 83.35 per cent and the pass percentage of private schools is 88.12 per cent. In HBSE Class 12 examination, the pass percentage of students from rural areas is 86.17 per cent, while the pass percentage of students from urban areas is 83.53 per cent.
