BSEB Class 12th board exams 2025: Datesheet released; exams from Feb 1

Students can check their BSEB Class 12 board exams 2025 datesheet at BSEB official websites – biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in and bsebmatric.org.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) released the class 12 board exams 2025 datesheet. As per the exam calendar, the board exams for class 12 exams will commence from February 1.

Students can check their BSEB Class 12 board exams 2025 date sheet at BSEB’s official website – biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. Here is the detailed date sheet of the exam. As per the new date sheet, BSEB class 12 exams will be conducted between February 1 to February 15.

The results and the last date for filling online examination application for the Intermediate Compartmental and Special Examination will be published in March or April 2025. Fresh admit cards will be issued to the candidates appearing for compartment exams between April and May.

From May 11, BSEB will conduct compartment exams and the results will be released on July 12.

The Bihar Board will release the BSEB 10th admit card for the 2025 Matric board exams on January 8, 2025. The admit card will be available for download until January 15, 2025. Additionally, the BSEB 12th admit card for 2025 will be available for download from January 21, 2025, to January 31, 2025.

The Bihar School Examination Board recently announced in a press conference that the prize money for the top rankers in the intermediate and matriculation exams will be doubled. For the 2025 Annual Examination, the revised prize amounts are as follows:

– The student securing the first position in both the matriculation and intermediate exams will receive Rs 2 lakh, up from Rs 1 lakh.
– The second position will be awarded Rs 1.5 lakh instead of Rs 75,000.
– The third position will receive Rs 1 lakh, an increase from Rs 50,000.
– Students placing fourth to tenth in the Matriculation Annual Examination will now receive Rs 20,000 instead of Rs 10,000.
– Those achieving fourth and fifth place in the Intermediate Annual Examination will be awarded Rs 30,000 instead of Rs 15,000.

As in previous years, all awarded students from both the Matriculation and Intermediate examinations in 2025 will also receive a laptop, a certificate, and a medal.

Additionally, the Board announced an increase in the “Bihar School Examination Board Deshratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medha Scholarship” starting in 2025. Under this scheme, students securing the top 10 ranks in the Annual Secondary Examination will receive a monthly scholarship of Rs 2,000, up from Rs 1,200.

Students in the top 10 ranks of the Annual Secondary Examination 2025 will be eligible for this scholarship for two years while enrolled in classes 11th and 12th, provided they are studying at an institution recognized by either the state or central government. Alternatively, if they are enrolled in a technical diploma course, they will receive Rs 2,000 per month until the completion of that course.
