Board Exam Results 2025: List of state boards likely to declare results in April

The Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination results for 2025 are likely to be announced in the first week of May, according to School Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa. The SSLC exams were conducted between March 21 and April 4, across the state.

This year, a total of 8,96,447 students appeared for the SSLC exams, including 4,61,563 male and 4,34,884 female students. The examinations were conducted at 2,818 centres, with 65,000 assessors deployed across 240 evaluation centers to ensure smooth and timely assessment of answer scripts.

The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) on April 19 is set to announce the UBSE board results for Class 10 and 12. Students will be able to check results on the official websites after entering their details.

The result will be made available by the UBSE board through a press conference. The result will be available for the students at the official websites of the UK board – ubse.uk.gov.in and uaresults.nic.in.

The students who have taken this year Uttarakhand board Class 10 and 12 exams will be able to view and download their UBSE 2025 marksheet on the official website of the board using their information such as roll number, date of birth, application number, and registration number.

In the days approaching the result day, emotions run high, not just for students but for parents and teachers too. In 2020 and 2021, the results were delayed due to the pandemic; however, in 2022, UPMSP announced the results on June 18. For the last two years, the UP Board has announced Inter and Matric scorecards in April, showing a high possibility that the Class 10th and Class 12th UP board scorecards can be released in the last week of April.

It is also pertinent to note that UPMSP has assured UP Board students that any updates regarding the UP Board Inter and Matric results will be shared at the appropriate time on its official websites — upmsp.edu.in and upmspresults.nic.in

The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division – II (previously Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, AHSEC) will likely be announcing the Class 12 results by May. The Assam board HS result link will be available at the official AHSEC website – ahsec.assam.gov.in and asseb.in, once the Assam board announces the result in a press conference.

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) announced that a total of 2.27 lakh candidates have registered for PUC Exam 2 which is set to take place between April 24 and May 8. According to the school education minister Madhu Bangarappa, out of 2.27 lakh, 1.57 lakh students who failed to pass one or more subjects in Exam 1 are repeating to clear those subjects.

Meanwhile, around 70,000 students who passed Exam 1 are reappearing to improve their scores, a significant increase from 42,000 students who repeated for improvement in the previous year (2024).

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on April 16 released the timetable for the Class 10 and 12 special and compartment exams for 2025. The board will conduct these exams for students who either flunked or missed their annual board exams that were held in February.

BSEB Class 10 (Matric) special and compartment exams will begin on May 2, 2025 and will be conducted in two shifts each day — the morning shift from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM and the afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.

Bihar Board Class 12 (Intermediate) students can appear for their special and compartment exams on May 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 13. These exams will also be conducted in two shifts daily, and as per board, Inter students will get an extra 15 minutes before the start to read the question paper.

The Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) is likely to declare the Andhra Pradesh Class 10 result on April 22. The AP BSEAP SSC Class 10th result 2025 will be available at the official website– bse.ap.gov.in.

BSEAP has not released an official note, however, an official informed indianexpress.com that the result is expected on April 22 (Tuesday) in the morning.

Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MP Board) 10th and 12th exams will be conducted twice in an academic session. As per reports, the state government has taken this decision. The board also been decided that now supplementary exams will not be conducted after the board exams. The first exam will be held in February-March and the second exam in July-August. CBSE has too announced two board exams for Classes 10 and 12.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar will not be announcing the Class 12 science stream and the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2025 results on April 17, the board in a statement said. The Class 12 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) science stream exam and GUJCET 2025 exams were conducted in March. The official website for GSEB Class 12 and GUJCET 2025 results is gseb.org.

A release stating that the results of the HSC Class 12 science stream exam and GUJCET 2025 examination held in March 2025 will be declared on the board’s website on April 17 at 9 am, is incorrect and fake, the GSHSEB Gujarat board confirmed denying the statement. 

The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education is likely to declare the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) results by the next week. This year, as per reports, they introduced the QR code, which includes the examination centre location on the hall tickets. S Krishna Aditya, Secretary of the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education, said that although the Board has provided a grace period of five minute, however, the new QR code has helped maintain punctuality and cleared up any confusion about the exam centre locations.

The board typically releases Class 10 and 12 results on the same day. Over the last three years, the board has released Class 12 results around mid-May. In 2024, the result was declared on May 13, while in 2023, it was announced on May 12. An exception was in 2022 when the results were declared relatively late, on July 22, due to pandemic-related disruptions.

Despite the conclusion of exams nearly a month ago, UPMSP has not yet announced the date or time for releasing the UP Board Class 10th and 12th results.

Maharashtra Information Technology Minister Ashish Shelar directed officials to submit a report on enhancing the capacity and cyber security of state education board websites that host SSC and HSC exam results. “In the interest of lakhs of students who log in simultaneously to check their results, the board’s website must undergo regular load testing and capacity enhancement. Prepare a report on the current capacity of the website and suggest measures to increase it,” Shelar said.

During the meeting, Shelar was briefed on the technical glitches and overload issues that often occur when Maharashtra SSC (Class 10) and Maharashtra HSC (Class 12) results are declared and thousands of students attempt to access the site simultaneously.

This year, over 15 lakh HSC students including 8,10,348 boys, 6,94,652 girls, and 37 are transgender registered for their MSBSHSE exam. For the successful conduction of the examination, the MSBSHSE deployed flying squads, imposed Section 144 around exam centres.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), Pune SSC and HSC exams are concluded and the results are expected next month. While the Maharashtra Board has not announced the result date, the chairman Sharad Gosavi told The Indian Express that Maharashtra board Class 10 and 12 results will be declared by May 15.

The Maharashtra board Class 10 and Class 12 results will be declared by May 15, an official confirmed. Last year, the Maharashtra SSC and HSC results were declared on May 21.

Last year, a total of 29,82,055 students had appeared for the UP Board class 10 exam, of which 22,93,467 students passed. Similarly, 24,52,830 students appeared in UP Board class 12 exams, of which 20,26,067 qualified. The pass percentage was 89.55 for Class 10 and 82.60 for Class 12.

For Class 10 results last year, 58 per cent passed Class 10 exams. In 2023, the pass percentage stood at 55.28%. The previous year, in 2022, it was notably higher at 72.72%.

Last year, the overall pass percentage for MP Board Class 12 result was recorded at 64.48 per cent. In 2023, the overall pass percentage was 55.28 per cent. In the class 12 exams of 2022, the overall pass percentage was 72.72 per cent.

The MPBSE Board Class 12 exam was held from February 25 to March 25 and Class 10 exams were conducted from February 27 to March 19. Last year, the MP board Class 10 and Class 12 results were declared on April 24. The Class 10 exams took place from February 5 to 28, and the Class 12 exams were conducted from February 6 to March 5.

The science stream exams were held from February 27 to March 10, while the general stream exams ended on March 17. GUJCET 2025 was conducted on March 23. The final answer keys of GUJCET 2025 are released already. 

As of now, there is no update on when the UPMSP will announce the date and time to declare the UP Board Class 10th and 12th results. These are the dates on which UP board Class 10 and Class 12 results were declared in the previous years.
