The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, AHSEC will soon declare the Higher Secondary (Class 12) results. Once released, students will be able to check their mark sheet at the official website — ahsec.assam.gov.in, sebaonline.org and resultsassam.nic.in.
Some reports had earlier stated that the HS result was to be declared 0n May 26, however the state education minister, Ranoj Pegu, clarified that the reports were fake. “There are false news in circulation about HS results. Please keep following https://ahsec.assam.gov.in,” he tweeted.

As per some reports, the Assam Board will not declare the Class 12 results before May 31 as the evaluation process is still underway, due to the increase in number of students who appeared for the board exams.
In 2022, the overall pass percentage for Arts stream was 83.48 per cent, 87.26 per cent for Commerce and 92.19 per cent for Science stream. However, this was a dip from 2021’s percentage. In 2021, the overall pass percentage for Arts stream was 98.93 per cent, while 99.06 per cent of students cleared their HS exams in the Science stream, and in 99.57 per cent cleared Commerce stream.
A year before that, when the Covid was at its peak in 2020, the Commerce stream recorded the highest pass percentage with 88.18 per cent, followed by Science at 88.06 per cent and Arts stream had the least pass percentage at 78.28 per cent.
The pass percentage recorded in 2022 was higher than the pre pandemic years as in 2019, Arts stream students recorded an overall pass percentage of 75.14 per cent, Commerce reported 87.59 per cent and Science recorded 86.59 per cent.
Similarly, in 2018, Arts stream recorded an overall pass percentage of 74.68 per cent, Commerce had 84.64 per cent and Science students reported 85.74 per cent.
