Worker electrocuted at under-construction site, builder booked for negligence
Initially, an accidental death report was registered at the Fursungi police station. However, a probe revealed that the builder had allegedly failed to implement necessary safety measures at the site.

A 33-year-old was electrocuted at an under-construction building in Pune’s Fursungi area on July 26. Police have booked the builder for alleged negligence.
The deceased has been identified as Pavan Ditya Nayak, a native of Madhya Pradesh. According to the police, Nayak was working at a construction site at Harpale Wasti in Fursungi when the bamboo he was holding came in contact with a high-tension electricity wire around 11.30 am.
Nayak collapsed after suffering a severe electric shock and was rushed to a hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. Following the incident a police team rushed to the spot for investigation.

Police have lodged an FIR against the construction businessman under Sections 106 and 290 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the Fursungi police station.
Police sub inspector Babasaheb Khandare is investigating the case.
