A two-and-a-half-year-old girl was allegedly molested by a professor on January 15 at a crèche near State Bank Colony in Bibewadi. The accused Aniket Arvind Khandekar (33),who was arrested on Tuesday,is a professor at VIT College. According to the police,Khandekars wife runs a crèche at their residence. As the victims parents are working they used to send the girl at the crèche. On January 15,the girl came back home in the evening and complained of pain. Her mother found some scratches on her thighs and took the girl to a family doctor. Subsequently,a complaint was registered with the police.
