I play the guitar very well. So,I guess if I weren’t a chef,I would most probably be a musician.

Apart from salt,which ingredient is the most important?

Since I am a Thai cuisine chef,I feel I cannot cook without the traditional fish sauce,called nampla in Thai.

Which method of cooking is the healthiest?

According to me,any food that is stir fried or wok-tossed is the healthiest.

Do you prefer Indian or continental food?

As a matter of fact,I like Oriental food the best,especially food from the Far-East. That is why I started cooking Thai food in the first place!

Do you think Puneites experiment with their food?

Absolutely. It takes a brave man (and a brave stomach) to experiment with dishes like sushi and tofu,but people in Pune seem to have no such qualms and dig in to these dishes.

Which dish can most aptly be called the representative of Indian cuisine?

If we consider non-veg dishes,then it would be tandoori chicken and butter chicken,and among veg dishes,it would have to be dosas.
