Surprise checks on hotels

The district administration on Thursday conducted surprise checks on hotels to see if they are complying with rules.This comes in the wake of raids conducted at a restaurant-cum-lodge at Wagholi. The administration said the hotel had not taken permission for holding an event. The administration will issue notice to the hotel on Friday.
