Step Up

He has made some of the biggest names in Bollywood dance to his steps and,on Monday,ace choreographer Shiamak Davar displayed his moves to Pune’s dance enthusiasts. He conducted a special master class for students of Shiamak Davar International (India) Pvt Ltd and other interested participants. Held at Le Meridien,the event saw a turnout of over 800 students. Davar quipped,“The energy was electric. Seeing them dance and dancing along with them was a great experience. Monday’s class reminded me of how much I’ve missed coming here.” The students also had a chance to throw questions at Davar. “One of them asked me which politician I would like to choreograph steps for!” he says. His answer: Lalu Prasad Yadav.
