Seems like Pune is geared up for an action packed start to the weekend what with Australian fast bowler Brett Lee all set to take centrestage at Arc Asia,ABC Farms tonight. And no,we arent talking about cricket. Instead,Lee will perform for the first time in the city with his band White Shoe Theory. And after the city hears him play live (bass guitar and harmonies),there is also an interactive session with him to add to the fun.

On Sunday evening,Tilak Smarak Mandir will come alive with the grace and beauty of Bharatnatyam. Twelve-year-old Amulya Chetlapalli and 13-year-old Priyanka Kamble,both disciples of Usha Rahul,will enthrall audiences with their skilled and perfected moves. Amulya and Priyanka have been training in the classical dance at Abhinayadarpanam since they were six and five years old respectively. Amulya has previously performed the title role of ‘Andal’ in the dance drama ‘Andal Kalyanam’ at Balaji temple,Pashan,during the visit of Jeer Swamy. And Priyanka,apart from being a talented dancer,is also a trained singer of Carnatic and Hindustani music.
