If trance and heavy baselinesare what gets the party pumping then Ronski Speed (Euphonic Germany) will be stomping up the volume all night long this weekend. He will be performing some of his compositions like The Space We Are,Incognition and Soulseeker. Speed who has worked with names like Armin van Buuren,Above and Beyond,ATB and Heather Nova,will be raising the pitch for all party lovers at the Stone Water Grill on April 11.

Adventures galore
Guide Portraits is organising a personality development workshop for children between the age group of 7 to 14 years. This camp will be organised at Mahabaleshwar from April 22 to 26 and in Matheran from May 1 to 4. During the course of the workshop,various intelligence games such as social skills,self discipline,self development,concentration,memory,aptitude test,brain gym and so on will be conducted,using techniques related to nature and bravery to mould the personalities of children. Other adventure sports like valley crossing,rappelling will also be conducted.

With the marriage season round the corner,Rigveda is organising a Paithani exhibition of bridal Paithani sarees at Hotel Ashish Plaza,Ferguson College Road till April 11. The exhibition will display Paithanis of more than 15 designs,ready made short and long kurtas and salwar suit. The wedding collection will be available in an array of exotic colours like peacock blue,green and kumkum. The exhibition will feature mens’ collection too with Paithani colours and Paithani motifs,and both-short and long kurtas that can be worn on jeans and churidars.

Cool it up
Beat the heat in style as designer Radhika Gugle Shetty will be holding an exhibition on summer cocktail dresses and children’s summer dresses on April 9 and 10 at C Wing,Dhole Patil Road. The dresses which will be exhibited,are mainly made of cooling fabrics like cottons,linen and chiffons in light and pastel hues of whites,baby pinks,yellows,creams and blues. For children,the party dresses will mainly focus on age group of 1-8 years with dresses in vibrant pinks,yellows and turquoises.
