Good looks of regal proportions ruled the roost on Saturday at The Pride Hotel,Shivajinagar. The ‘Queen of Queens 2010’ pageant was held in the city for the 14th year,where Tanuka Ghate bagged the crown. The event was judged by personality trainer Ratna Khemani,Tushar Raman,director of Tushar Fitness studio and Stretch,and previous winner Zara Raj. They judged the contestants on the basis of rounds like a royal sequence ramp walk and answers to the judges questions.

While it is a well known fact that most people after having being diagnosed with life threatening illnesses,end up losing hope,Amar Rane has been able to conquer his by choosing to battle an orthopedic handicap that left him permanently disabled. Rane who has a diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology,has authored six recipe books in addition to producing a recipe book in Braille and an audio cassettes for those deprived of sight and literacy. Rane who has also produced video CDs of reciepes in the sign language hopes that he will be able to start a catering institute for the differently abled.
