Sussanne Khan and Hrithik Roshan always have each other’s back.

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan continue to set an example rarely seen in celebrity circles. The former couple recently travelled to Phuket, Thailand, with their partners, Saba Azad and actor Arslan Goni, along with sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan, and close family members and friends, for an intimate getaway. Though the tropical escape also marked Hrithik’s birthday celebrations, the trip held a deeper emotional meaning.

After several photos and videos from the vacation surfaced online, Sussanne shared a fresh set of pictures on Friday—this time accompanied by a deeply personal tribute to her late mother, Zarine Katrak Khan, who passed away in November 2025. The Phuket trip was especially significant as it marked Sussanne’s first vacation, along with her brother Zayed Khan and other family members, after their mother’s passing.

In her heartfelt post, Sussanne wrote, “To me it’s Mother Ocean… thank you Mummsy for giving me your genetic code to be the person i am, here is to a celebration of the Love, the beautiful bonds and the best energy that you surround me with…mummsy you saw Phuket through our souls n you embraced me with your warmth at a time when i needed it most..your always with me everywhere and in everything i do.. from here till eternity u live on through my eyes ♥️♥️♥️✊🏼✊🏼🥹🥹🥹🪽🪽🪽🤍my Angel Mummsy.”

The photos featured Sussanne Khan, Zayed Khan, his wife Malaika Khan, Kunal Kapoor, Goldie Behl, along with Hrithik Roshan, Saba Azad, Arslan Goni, and several close friends and family members. Hrithik’s mother Pinkie Roshan, niece Suranika Soni, and cousin-actor Pashmina Roshan were also part of the gathering.

Earlier, sharing a reel from Hrithik Roshan’s birthday celebrations, Sussanne Khan wrote, “Coz you will always be the sky full of stars to all of us… happy birthday Rye… wish you and Saboo endless love… from here to beyond eternity let us all be connected beyond family and heart monsters.” Hrithik responded with equal warmth, commenting, “Happy humans singing in harmony because the music never really stops. Big love.”

Hrithik Roshan has stood firmly by Sussanne Khan and her family through difficult times. He was present during the funeral and prayer meet following the death of Zarine Khan, who passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 81 due to age-related ailments.
