On July 24,the dance company Danza De La Liga will welcome all dancers at Post 91 (Koregaon Park) for a free-for-all dance party. Right from those who just about manage to shake a leg to those who have mastered professional moves,this party is meant for all. The evening will be one of salsa,free style,and,going by Danza De La Liga’s motto,all round wellness,and fitness.

Creating life
Renowned scientist Dr J Craig Venter and his team at the J Craig Venter Institute (JCVI) created history by synthetically creating a living,self-replicating cell on May 20. Discovery Science has documented this exciting five-year journey of Dr Venter and his quest to produce life synthetically. Premiering on July 27 at 8 pm,the one-hour special programme will take viewers through his pioneering quest and reveal the failures,successes and breakthrough moments of the researchers as they meticulously sought to create a synthetic single-celled organism,and thus create a milestone in the history of science.
