Tunes of grandeur
Celebrating his 61st birthday amidst the connoisseurs of classical music and its audiences Pandit Suhas Vyas,the renowned classical musician and son and disciple of Pandit C R Vyas,will be performing in the city. The concert would be rendered by Pandit Rajan Sajan Mishra while Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia will be the cheif guest that evening. The function would be held at YeshwantRao Chavan Auditorium,Kothrud on October 27,6 30 pm onwards.

While the elite class gathers at the Bibvewadi branch of Gaaneysh Dance Academy to enroll for the new session of Bollywood dance,the academy’s other branch at Warje will be making kids from the underprivilged section of society groove to Bollywood beats. The acadmey has been imparting training for last 15 years. “Warje branch has students from the slums and are imparted dance training free of cost,” says Ganesh Jadhav who started the dance classes at a parking lot in Bibvewadi.
