Security guard hacked to death

Subash Sopan Dhaktode,50,a security guard at Deepmala society in Pimple Saudagar,was hacked to death by his colleague Sunil Kangne (28) following a petty fight on Monday night.

Subash Sopan Dhaktode,50,a security guard at Deepmala society in Pimple Saudagar,was hacked to death by his colleague Sunil Kangne (28) following a petty fight on Monday night. The police have booked Kangne for murder.

According to inspector Vijaykumar Sawant of Sanghvi police station,both the deceased and the accused were working for a security agency. They were stationed at Deepmala society at Pimple Saudagar for duty.

Kangne,who was on night duty,handed over the day shift charge to Subash on Monday morning and left the society. When Kangne came back to the society,Subash told him that he should make an entry in the register before entering the society premises. Kangne,who was staying in the same society,got furious after hearing this and the duo entered into a heated argument,which led to a fight. In the meantime,Subash relative Santosh Sherkane tried to pacify the duo. But Subash punched and hit Kangne.
