PMPML bus kills 69-yr-old

A 69-year-old woman was killed after a PMPML bus ran over her on Tuesday. She was crossing the road where the Shivajinagar flyover begins after getting down from another PMPML bus. Shivajinagar police identified her as Sulochana Dnyaneshwar Shelar of Rege Path in Model Colony. Senior inspector P N Patil said,“We have arrested the driver. She had got down from another bus and was crossing the road. We are trying to find how she came to a spot where the flyover begins and all vehicles run at high speed. We suspect her to have missed her bus stop.”

Police said Shelar died on the spot. M P Sartape,assistant police inspector said,“We arrested driver Prakash Bhaguji Kamble (52). We are trying to find where she wanted get down and why she was dropped in the middle of the road. We are yet to get more details.”
