PDPL semifinals today

The AMIT PDPL T20 tournament,which commenced on November 20,has reached its last leg with two semifinal matches scheduled to be held on Thursday at Deccan Gymkhana Ground and at Manchar.

The semifinals at Deccan will be between Pimpri Panthers and Parvati Peshwas while Manchar will host Ambegaon Tigers and Chakan Royals thus completing the semi final lineup.

In the matches played on Wednesday Baramati Powers beat Ambegaon Tigers by four wickets,Goel Ganga Camp Warriors beat Kohinoor Pimpri Panthers by 35 runs and Automech Chakan Royals beat Amit Parvati Peshwas by 38 runs.

Niranjan Godbole of Pimpri Panthers has been a consistent performer,having bagged three ‘Man of The Match’ in the 5 matches played so far. Godbole and Nitin Phadtare of Akshay Ambegaon Tigers are the front-runners for the Man of the Series award.
