PDPL selection at Deccan Gymkhana

The selection process for the upcoming Pune District Premier League [PDPL was conducted on November 2 at Deccan Gymkhana. There were 90 players present for the trials out of which 30 were from the Taluka level and 60 from Pune district. Selection committee members of Pune District Cricket Association [PDCA were also present to shortlist the coveted 60 players who would be put up for auction on November 4. The players were in the age group of 18-32 years.The six teams of the PDPL are Parwati Peshwas,Pimpri Panthers,Chakan Royals,Camp Warriors,Baramati Powers and Ambegaon Tigers. The coaches of all the franchisees were also present along with officials from PDCA. The chairman of PDCA Ramesh Bondre along with Jaywant Gadre, Subhash Jadhav,Anil Kulkarni,Makarand Bhide and Anil Bahiramadgikar conducted the trials.
