Now,Bagul says elected representatives ignored

The administration was inefficient and not performing its duties,he said adding the elected representatives have to take up the issues with the administration due to ignorance of civic staff.

The civic staff were partial and were taking seriously only few selected elected representatives while ignoring others,Bagul said adding,”The treatment given to common citizen can be imagined from the way the elected representatives were given the treatment.”However,city engineer Prashant Waghmare denied being ignoring Bagul. “I accepted the memorandum submitted by the leader of opposition and immediately asked the junior staff to prepare a letter to put up with the municipal commissioner for action,” he said adding that the reason for him to rush was to attend a meeting called by municipal commissioner Mahesh Zagade.

“I was called by the commissioner for a meeting and there were five reminders for the meeting. Later on,there was a meeting with additional municipal commissioner,” Waghmare said.

Earlier,Mayor skipped the inaugral function of Shaniwarwada festival,organised by his office on behalf of the civic body,alleging that the administration was not taking him seriously and had delayed sanctioning of funds for the festival.
