City-based organisation,Janwani,along with Indictrans Technologies,has developed an online bus guide for PMPML commuters. Website http://punebusguide.org/ gives all the information on bus routes from a particular depot,route name and number,stops in up and down directions,time table,distance covered and the duration.
The website also has a map-based information page. One can also install an application on the mobile phone. Soon,we will launch an SMS service. Google Inc has approached us and shown interest in putting up information on Google soon. PMPML will be the first public bus agency in the country to feature on Google, said Kishori Gadre,Janwani director.
