A tower that can end your parking woes. Thats precisely what Vertipark is all about. From the stable of TAL Manufacturing Solutions,a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Motors, the Vertipark,a fully automated multi-level vertical car parking system designed to maximise parking area for cars using minimum ground space was launched here on Friday.
The TAL-Vertipark has been developed and produced specially for Indian conditions, based on the original design from MP Systems Co Ltd Korea, under a licence agreement. The length and width of each tower is designed, such that the total ground space occupied is only for three vehicles. Vertipark is being offered in two variants – a 20-level tower for up to 40 vehicles and a 10-level tower for up to 20 vehicles.
Atam P Arya, managing director of TAL,said that the company already got two orders from two Tata group companies in Pune and that the company anticipates a good market for the product We are in talks with other institutions also and the orders that we got are for 20-level towers. With minimal operational and maintenance requirements,it is suitable stand alone parking solution for commercial, office and residential buildings, public utilities, railway stations and airports. These solutions are also very handy for the automobile industry including the car dealerships and warehouses, he said.
