Rajesh Pandurang Choudhary (23),one of the accused in Nayana Pujari rape case who has turned approver was produced before the judicial magistrate first class (JMFC) S M Padolikar on Tuesday. The judge gave Choudhary 48 hours as time for reflection on his decision to become an approver in the case. The approvers statement will be recorded in-camera on Thursday. Meanwhile,Choudharys confessional report was submitted to the court on Tuesday. It was on Monday that Pune district judge Madan Trimbak Joshi allowed Choudhary to turn approver,provided he gives true and complete information of the crime. Choudhary had said that he was willing to turn approver in the witness box on June 15. He said he was repenting for the act and was willing to cooperate with the prosecution.
