MSEDCL appeals to Ganesh mandals

The all-woman Damini squad of the MSEDCL has started checking unauthorised connections used by Ganesh mandals and have decided to appeal to the mandals to regularise them. The MSEDCL has provided connection at a cheap rate of Rs 2.52 per unit for Ganesh mandals. This is done so that they can avail of connections to ensure safety. However,the mandals do not apply for connections,MSEDCL officials ssaid. To ensure that the mandals regularise the connections,three Damini squads will appeal to the mandals to do so.
