Marksheets clear doubts about anomalies

The doubts raised by several science students and their parents about discrepancies in assessment were cleared on Thursday with the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) issuing marksheets.

The doubts raised by several science students and their parents about discrepancies in assessment were cleared on Thursday with the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) issuing marksheets.

“We did not receive a single complaint from students or parents today like we did on the day of announcement of online results on May 30. Most parents whose wards scored less had raised doubts whether practical marks in science were included in the final tally. With the marksheets being given, these doubts have been cleared,” Board’s Pune division secretary Pushpalata Pawar told Newsline.

The Board also issued marksheets to over 200 students, whose results were withheld either due to their colleges not conveying internal assessment marks to MSBSHSE or due to data getting lost inadvertently.

The Pune division of MSBSHSE has received around 2,455 applications for photocopies of answersheets.
