Workshop for junior Olympiad students
Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Ltd (MKCL) will organise a four-day free workshop for 25 students across the state who have qualified the first level of the national standard examination in junior science. The workshop will prepare 25 students for the next level. The workshop will be conducted from 9 am-5 pm from January 19- 22 at the MKCL’s finishing school at Shivajinagar. The workshop is conducted as part of science Olympiad Abhiyan,movement run by MKCL that aims to facilitate students for the Olympiad.

Seminar on disaster management
Pune University’s Department of Geography is organising a national seminar on geographical applications for the management of natural disaster from January 21-23.

Various research papers will be presented at this seminar by researchers,scientists,engineers,planners,policy makers,GIS analysts and students.
