Fashion feista

Mumbai-based fashion connoisseur and innovative designer,Pria Kataaria Puri showcased her Persian Funk Collection at a fashion show on July 16 at Hotel Oakwood Premiere. The theme of the designs was ‘Youth and and their Independence’ which inspired a range of ensembles from flowy lounge gowns,to balloon tops,kaftans,harem pants,sleeveless tunics and more. Her colour story was dominated by fruit neon colour. Motifs and patterns inspired by nomadic patchwork,gold gilded ribbons and cord work were used with imaginative brilliance. Model Priyanka Shah,who is famed as a finailst at a national beauty pageant in 2007,walked the ramp as Puri’s showstopper. Singer Anaida,Varsha Atul Chordia,Sagar Chordia,Alpana Kirloskar Michelle Poonawala and more from the who’s who of the city gathered for a night of fashion and fun.
