Diva Dance

The Diva Night for Children…Let The Magic Begin! Production held at Ishanya Mall recently was a mix of beautiful dance forms. Organised by the Diva Bellydance Academy,the show had semi-classical Indian and bellydance fusion performances,a Michael Jackson tribute,a salsa/bellydance/hip hop fusion,live drum solos,fire fusion dances,sword balancing acts,theatrical acts and performances by children from Grace Orphanage. Elaborate costumes and glamorous jewellery added to the extravagant show. Other highlights were a photo booth,food stalls and free face painting for kids. The programme was based on the concept of ‘Hope & Dreams’. Some of the proceeds were donated to Grace Orphanage and Hope for the Children Foundation while some members of the audience even joined the ‘Adopt a Child’ programme of Hope for the Children Foundation.
